Galit is an award-winning writer, director performer and arts visionary who pushes the boundaries of  theatre and music. She graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Monash University with a minor in Yiddish language in 2008. She has been involved in Australia, Israel and the USA in theatre production, development and performance. Galit believes in the equity of theatre for expression and has created and directed theatre groups in underserved communities both in Australia and overseas. Galit is the founding Artistic Director of Kadimah Yiddish Theatre.

When not creating shows Galit practises trapeze, tends to her chooks and reads.
